This club in engaged in yearlong activity to promote a greener lifestyle by planting trees, cleaning up the environment of the school and raising ecological awareness.

Literary Club

A Literary club has come up with the view to develop the student’s creative skills in the fields of spoken and written language. Activities on phonetics and vocabulary building and a self expression through debates and essay writing are being conducted. Though skill in its infant stage, it aims to mould the students to achieve the competence level placing them at par with the English speaking world.

Drawing Competition

Keeping this in mind and to explore and encourage creativity in children and offer them a platform to show their skill in drawing and colouring. It inspired children to think and work creatively and promoted artistic excellence.

This gives the students a chance to be inventive and come up with novel ideas to amaze everybody.

Scouts & Guides

Our cubs and bulbuls are 'Always prepared'. Students are encouraged to become responsible future citizens and learn many interesting skills.

Social Service

Mission Mankind is an attempt by the Claretines to render help, assistance and support to the needy and the 'voiceless' section of Society. It is a ray of hope for the have-not’s which can usher in happiness in their mundane lives. It lends a helping hand to relieve the destitute and the poverty – stricken people. It is a mode of assistance to support the hungry, famished and the left out of the society.

The goal and objectives of Mission Mankind is to build up close and cozy ambience even for the abandoned and the food less and help those in need because everyone is a star and deserve the right to twinkle.

  • The Missionaries of Charity cares for the hapless who are in desperate need of food and shelter, such as the mentally challenged, children, orphans, aged persons.

Karate

Karate classes are held every week in our school. Karate is an ancient method of training mind, body and spirit to act as one. Karate practitioners strive for harmony. Physical education helps students personally develop as the brain functions better, and physical education helps students develop social skills related to relationships with others. There is a positive correlation between martial arts and improved learning, martial arts and improved self-confidence, and self-confidence and improved learning. Children who get involved in martial arts reap many benefits in several areas of life. Some of the benefit of learning Karate are students will get more active, gain self confidence and self respect, connect their mind and body and learning conflict resolution.

Yoga

Students in our school are taught Yoga in every week. It helps the children to stay healthy. Yoga helps children to see the beauty and light within themselves, thereby boosting their self-confidence, allowing them to feel more comfortable with their bodies, and helping them get in touch with who they are inside. A child who learns yoga, mindfulness and relaxation will be developing essential skills for a lifetime of health and wellness in mind, body and spirit.

Yoga practice contributes to the overall development of the child and various studies have shown that it contributes to flexibility and muscular fitness and also corrects postural defects among school children. Yoga has been an integral part of Health and Physical Education. It helps the student to plan next class and contribution to the health and overall development of the child. It also improves memory, focus and concentration. It can be extremely helpful in helping kids reduce levels of negative thinking, negative effect, revenge motivation, depression, emotional arousal, physical arousal, rumination, perceived-stress, attitudes toward violence; and it’s been associated with greater levels of self-control, tolerance for distress, and school engagement
